Two white Orbit juggling balls rest on a wooden workbench, surrounded by handcrafted tools: on the left, a pair of sewing scissors and cut panels of white synthetic leather; on the right, a wooden bowl containing plastic filling pellets. The ball on the left has six hand-stitched sides, the one on the right has eight, both with visible polyester thread stitching and a grained synthetic leather cover.

Orbit Ball: A High-End, Robust, and Washable Juggling Ball

The Orbit juggling ball was developed for demanding jugglers seeking a ball that is robust, precise, and water-resistant . Entirely hand-stitched with high-quality polyester thread, it features a thick, grained synthetic leather cover offering excellent grip. Its filling of plastic granules of varying densities ensures consistent weight and feel between balls.

Two white Orbit juggling balls side by side: on the left, the 6-sided Cube version weighing 110g, and on the right, the 8-sided version weighing 125g, both 67mm in diameter with visible stitching and a grained synthetic leather cover.

Available in two versions: a 6-sided cube weighing 110g and an 8-sided cube weighing 125g , both 67mm in diameter and exclusively in white. Moisture-resistant and machine washable , the Orbit is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, even in the rain!

Storage bag for juggling balls

This storage bag can hold up to 7 balls like these. It will be automatically added to your order during processing if you order at least 5 of these balls . :-)

NetJuggler's review

With the Orbit, we offer a ball that stands out for its quality craftsmanship and durability . The cover is noticeably thicker and stiffer than that of our LX-12 balls, with a textured feel that's particularly pleasant for catches. But what we especially appreciate is the combination of entirely hand-stitched seams and the plastic pellet filling . The result is a robust, consistent, and easy-to-maintain ball. And being able to juggle in the rain, mud, or even in a pool without worrying about damaging your ball is a real bonus!

A Thick, Grained Synthetic Leather Cover

The Orbit ball's outer casing is made from a particularly thick and robust synthetic leather . This material is stiffer and thicker than the LX-12 technical textile we use on many of the white professional juggling balls in our catalog.

Its surface features a grained texture that enhances grip and makes handling and catching easier. This finish provides a unique feel, different from the softness of LX-12 balls, and offers a noticeable sense of solidity when juggling.

100% Hand-Sewn Stitching for Exceptional Durability

One of the Orbit ball's key features is that all of its seams are hand-stitched . Unlike our LX-12 textile models, which are generally machine-assembled, the Orbit benefits from particularly meticulous handcrafted production.

This method allows the use of a high-quality, more robust polyester thread that could not be used in the same way on our sewing machines. The seams thus gain strength and the finishes are particularly neat.

The assembly techniques used are similar to those used in the artisanal manufacture of shoes or in the craft of leatherwork , where the strength of the seams and the precision of the work play an essential role in the longevity of the product.

The result is a ball designed to withstand intensive use , with particular attention paid to the junction areas between the panels.

A Plastic Granule Filling for Optimal Regularity

The Orbit ball also differs from our traditional models by its filling composed of several types of plastic granules of different densities .

Most of our other juggling balls are filled with millet, a natural material with many advantages, but whose density can vary from batch to batch. These variations can lead to slight differences in feel between two balls advertised as having the same weight.

With the Orbit, the blend of plastic granules allows for precise adjustment of the final mass and density of each ball. This results in greater consistency from one ball to the next, a particularly valuable advantage for jugglers seeking a uniform feel.

This filling also offers two important advantages:

  • Better resistance to moisture: unlike millet, plastic granules are not sensitive to water in the same way as a plant-based filling.
  • A reduction in allergen risks: the absence of millet helps to avoid allergic reactions that this cereal can cause in some people.

A Machine Washable Juggling Ball: Juggle Without Limits!

With the Orbit, there's no need to worry about weather conditions or difficult terrain. Its robust synthetic cover and plastic pellet filling allow it to be used in situations where traditional millet-filled balls would be much more vulnerable.

In the rain, in the mud, on a wet lawn or even in the pool , you can juggle without worrying about the moisture.

And when your balls are dirty, their maintenance is particularly simple: they can go in the washing machine ! A considerable advantage for jugglers who train regularly outdoors, circus schools or structures that use their balls intensively.

Details on the Two Versions of the Orbit Ball

Orbit Cube 6 Sides – 110g – Ø67mm

This version consists of 6 panels , giving it a slightly cubic shape. Weighing 110g and measuring 67mm in diameter , it is the lighter of the two Orbit versions.

Its geometry and weight make it an attractive option for jugglers who prefer cube-shaped balls, especially for number juggling and multiplex juggling . Its moderate weight helps reduce fatigue during extended sessions, while maintaining a good feel in the hand.

Orbit 8 Faces – 125g – Ø67mm

With its 8 panels , this version has a slightly more rounded shape than the 6-sided Cube. It retains the same 67mm diameter , but its weight increases to 125g .

It's designed for jugglers who prefer a slightly heavier ball with more feel in the hand. Its more rounded shape and greater mass may suit jugglers who are looking for a different throwing and catching experience than that of a lighter, cube-shaped ball.

6 Faces or 8 Faces: What's the Difference in Juggling?

Generally speaking, the more faces a ball has, the closer its shape is to that of a sphere . An 8-sided ball therefore has a slightly more rounded geometry than a 6-sided ball.

However, between these two constructions, the difference remains relatively subtle and depends primarily on the personal preferences of each juggler .

When choosing between the two Orbit models, the most important criterion will likely be your weight preference: 110g for the 6-sided Cube or 125g for the 8-sided version . Both share the same diameter, materials, and build quality.

Ideal for Number Juggling and Intensive Training

Thanks to its consistent filling, quality cover and reinforced seams, the Orbit ball is an excellent choice for jugglers who practice regularly, especially with 5 or more balls .

The precision of the mass and density allows for consistent feel between the different balls in the same game, a particularly valuable point when the number of balls increases.

Its grainy texture also facilitates landings, while its robust construction makes it suitable for the many falls that naturally accompany learning new tricks.

A ball suitable for circus schools and group use

The Orbit ball also offers many advantages for circus schools, associations, companies and educational structures .

Its robust construction withstands the demands of repeated use by different jugglers. Its millet-free filling reduces the risk of grain-related allergies, while its machine-washable design simplifies the maintenance of shared equipment.

Children in a gymnasium or circus school are having fun with white juggling balls: in the foreground on the left, a boy in a navy blue sweatshirt throws a ball, while on the right two children jump and run amidst many white balls scattered on the floor, some in the air, in a joyful and dynamic atmosphere.

A ball that is particularly interesting for organizations looking for durable equipment that is easy to maintain and suitable for intensive use.

A Juggling Ball with a 2-Year Warranty

The quality of the materials and the care taken in the manufacture of the Orbit allow us to offer a 2-year warranty .

Between its thick synthetic leather cover, its fully hand-stitched seams and its moisture-resistant technical filling, the Orbit was designed to accompany jugglers for a long time, both indoors and outdoors.

With the Orbit, enjoy a precise, robust, washable juggling ball that's ready to go everywhere with you!
