Mephisto X-GRIP 70mm torch

The Mephisto X-GRIP torches by Play:
Mephisto torches are assembled in Italy with resistant materials (beech, aluminum, PVC alloys etc). They benefit from a quality finish. The wick used is thick Kevlar, without polymers. It is 7 cm wide. The Play torches have a rubber gasket around the beech body to absorb shocks. The torch handle is a rolled handle covered with a grip. The entire handle is protected by the rubber seal which will prevent oil from dripping onto the handle. The central dowel is made of PVC, thus using the same manufacturing concept as the PX3 clubs from the same manufacturer.
The X-GRIP handle is a traditional rolled handle found on PX3 clubs. It is covered with a retracted rubber grip capable of withstanding high temperatures.

Bonjour, nous sommes une cie de feu et souhaiterions renouveler notre parc de torches.
Nous travaillons jusqu’à maintenant avec la célèbre Henrys Nite flite mais suite à de la casse en spectacle nous souhaiterions peut être changer de matériel.
Plusieurs questions: le manche avec ce nouveau grip résiste t'il bien à la chaleur? (dans un de nos spectacle les torches sont parfois posées au sol et arrosées d'un filet d'essence ce qui provoque une forte chaleur les dégradant... je sais ce n'est idéale pour aucun matériel) mais les plays sont elles plus résistante et le grippe tient il le coup?
et le noyau du manche en pvc est il plus résistant que celui des henrys qui avec le temps et les chocs casse à la base au niveau de l'olive?
si quelqu'un connait bien ce matériel et en a une utilisation intensive je suis preneur de vos retours.

En effet les torches Nite Flite ne sont plus robustes comme avant. Elles sont plus fragiles depuis qu'ils les ont allégées et les décorations argentées se barrent au niveau des manches. Les torches Mephisto seront beaucoup plus robustes. Le grip noir X-Grip est thermo rétracté sur les poignées et passé au four ce qui en fait une poignée qui est robuste et difficile à abimer.
Si vous allez vraiment maltraiter votre matériel, je vous recommande les torches Mephisto personnalisables car si vous abimez une poignée, vous pourrez la changer vous même facilement sans avoir à remplacer la torche entière.
