Modular balance ball:

Since 2016, we've been thinking about a solution to design a modular, inter-level balance ball. In traditional Chinese circus, balls are sometimes weighted with sand to allow unicycling on a balance ball. The sand stabilizes the ball, making it much easier to use. Here's our solution to make the ball easy for beginners to use.

This balance ball model can therefore be adapted according to the level of the practitioners. A little sand is added to make the ball rollable, and on the contrary, sand is added to stabilize the ball. The ball therefore needs to be less heavy than if it were empty.

The more weighted the ball is, the safer and more stable it will be.

The structure is robust with plastic thick enough to accommodate large people and also to perform acrobatic lifts. The location of the filling hole is positioned so as not to weaken the structure of the ball and it is molded with a substantial screw thread which allows the screw cap not to interfere with the rolling of the ball.

Since the mold is new, the finish is clean on the junction in the center of the ball. The coating allows for greater comfort of use than with a shiny ball and a slight grip to facilitate use barefoot and in socks.

What is the use of this balance ball?

Use for initiation and discovery:

An interesting educational tool for schools and circus schools because this model is modular. For example, if you are giving a class to a group of beginners and you have few sessions, or little time to pass the group. Weighting the ball will stabilize it and make it less dangerous to use. This also means that you will no longer need to put a significant layer of mattress under the ball, block it, etc. No need to travel to your classes with as much equipment as with a traditional ball.

Advanced usage:

Some people might consider weighting the ball cheating. If you want to practice with rigor, simply use less sand, or even none at all, and you'll be able to develop a rigorous technique.

White balance ball:

We now have a white ball that you can choose from among the options. This color will make a striking impact on stage. Be careful, however, to pamper your white ball, as white tends to be more soiled than the other colors we offer.

Unicycle on balance ball:

With a high level of unicycling and significant ball weighting of the ball, it becomes possible to ride a unicycle on this ball while practicing "on the spot".

Advantage of weighting your ball:

By using the ability to weight the balance ball, the ball will roll less. Therefore, on stage, this will have the effect of stopping the moving ball so that it does not roll off the stage.
