Flaming hat:

This hat is one of a kind. A fire hat that can be juggled with.

The Kevlar cord is separated from the felt hat by a thick silicone layer which acts as an insulator against the heat given off by the flames.

How to use the fire hat?

• The wick should be soaked in delicately with flavorless oil using a syringe or pipette. Be sure to apply it only on the Kevlar (yellow part).

• Do not spill oil on the felt or on the silicone.

• You can soak your wick up to an hour before your show because the dearomatized oil does not evaporate.
• 5 minutes before lighting it on, you need to apply water to the felt using a pipette. It should be put on the felt on the top and side of the hat.
• There shouldn't be any drops on the Kevlar, otherwise you might have some trouble with the ignition.
• Finally, 1 minute before going on stage , you must apply zippo benzene. It helps ignite the dearomatized oil. Without it, you will not be able to light it correctly because dearomatized oil catches fire very slowly.
• Of course, not a drop of zippo benzene on the hat or the silicone: only on the Kevlar wick.
  The dosage should be done carefully. Too little and the wick will not ignite, too much and you risk seriously damaging the silicone and the felt of the hat.
• The fire hat can be used between 50 and 100 times. With good ignition technique, it can be used even more. Its lifespan will depend on your thoroughness.

This is a great accessory to put in the hands of someone passionate and patient willing to spend the time necessary to prepare the hat. The effect is stunning.

Today the new version is in a top hat version, the flat on the top of the hat is more suitable to set the top of the hat on fire.
