Rope darting is a discipline derived from martial arts. This is an adapted version of the original art. A flaming ball is placed at the end of the rope (whereas the original art would have had a blade).

Important: This equipment is for professional use only. It should only be used after extensive training, without a flame. Never light the equipment without fully mastering the movements.

Essential instructions for use:

• Never place the burning wick on the ground , especially on a hard surface such as concrete: this seriously damages the Kevlar.
• Avoid contact between the flame and the rope : for added safety, wet the rope if there is a risk of contact. If the rope is not wet, it can quickly deteriorate upon contact.
• Store the rope and fire head separately : the cotton rope should never be soaked with fuel.
• Regularly check the condition of the equipment , particularly the fasteners and the condition of the Kevlar.
• Never use this equipment while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Have a bucket of water, a wet blanket and a foam fire extinguisher nearby.
• Wear tight-fitting, flame-resistant clothing , tie up long hair, avoid synthetic fabrics.
• Maintain a safe distance from the public and ensure that the practice area is clear, with no flammable materials nearby.
• This material is prohibited for those under 18.

Netjuggler's opinion:

A discipline that requires good technique before igniting the equipment. Reserved for professionals. It's easy to get tangled in the rope and get close to the flame. The flame produced by the towline is substantial. Be careful not to burn yourself.
