Technora® 8-strand rope:
The Technora® 8-strand rope is a high-performance aramid fiber rope designed for the manufacture and replacement of firefighting equipment. Available in 6 mm or 8 mm , it is manufactured using an 8-strand process with uncarded yarn, giving it a very supple, smooth, and pleasant feel.
Primarily used for making fire bolas , fire rope darts or fire meteors , it offers excellent heat resistance while maintaining lightness and flexibility.
Technora® fiber has a strength-to-weight ratio superior to steel, as well as excellent thermal and chemical resistance. It is particularly well-suited for structural components of fire protection equipment.

This rope is an excellent choice for fire artists who make or maintain their bolas, rope darts, or meteors. The 8-strand braiding allows for easy, strong, clean, and aesthetically pleasing splices without the need for heavy metal parts or bulky knots.
Another important advantage: it absorbs virtually no fuel . It is therefore ideal for sections that need to withstand heat without becoming waterlogged.
However, please note: this rope is not a wick. It should not be used as a fuel-absorbing element.
