The Hyperspin diabolo is a leading name among ball-bearing diabolos. Designed by Diabolo Dance Theatre, it is renowned for its exceptional spin time and remarkably quiet operation.

Its unique design features a wide axle equipped with three bearings and shells made of several plastics, with an intentionally weighted outer structure to increase inertia. The result: a stable, smooth, and very enjoyable diabolo to play, ideal for both stage performances and technical training.

Available in translucent (letting light through) and opaque versions , to choose according to your aesthetic preferences.

The Hyperspin is one of the quietest bearing-equipped diabolos we've tested. Lateral play on the axle is minimal, providing a very clean feel and control. Its high inertia and wide axle make grinds, vertax spins, and long combos without re-acceleration easy.

This diabolo is very popular on stage and in educational settings because it allows time to explain, correct, and link tricks together. User feedback is excellent, especially on diabolo.ca.

Made by Dance Theater (Malaysia) in limited series, it is available irregularly , with colours often clashing.

Caution : The Hyperspin diabolo is designed for indoor use or on smooth surfaces. Using it on asphalt or gravel can damage the casing. The manufacturer does not offer spare parts for this model.

Regarding diabolo wheels with bearings:

Once launched, a diabolo with bearings maintains its rotational speed much longer than a diabolo with a fixed axle. This allows for a series of tricks without re-acceleration, facilitates grinds, and reduces friction in vertax.

Conversely, certain specific tricks (like the classic elevator) become impossible, and practicing with multiple diabolos outside of a Vertax setup is less suitable. Like any mechanical system, the bearings can wear out over time.
