Lycopodium cane - GORA

Cane sold individually, equipped with a Kevlar wick. The lycopodium powder is not included.

You can use lycopodium powder with this accessory. This powder is extracted from a dried plant. Spray powder on the flame, it will create a giant fireball. An impressive visual, used as a WOW effect in a show, for a final for example.

The cane can also be used without powder, just for its flame at the end.

Preparation of the cane:

First of all, fill the cane with lycopodium powder (powder not supplied, you will find some on our website) with a small funnel for example. When soaking your wick in de-flavored oil, be sure not to wet the powder. NetJuggler recommends that you use a pipette.

Until you are ready to use the cane, you should keep it in an upright position so that the powder does not spill out.

How do I produce this big flame ?

The thin powder will come out of the cane on the flame thanks to the effect of the centrifugal force when you turn on yourself with the cane pointed outwards. This will form a fireball around you that will hold a bit before dissipating.

Safety rules with the use of lycopodium:

Any use of fire equipment requires a safe distance between you and your audience. Lycopodium powder having a significant fireball effect, increase the safety distances that you are used to having. Stand at least 7 meters away from your audience.
