Nite Flite torch

The Henrys Nite Flite fire torch is a classic design renowned for its balance and lightness. Its hybrid structure features an internal wooden dowel encased in an aluminum tube. This design provides a juggling feel similar to a traditional club. The 50mm Kevlar wick is screwed to the aluminum body, allowing for easy replacement in a "sushi roll" style.
NetJuggler's review
"The Nite Flite is a classic torch. While its balance is appreciated, it features questionable technical choices for modern intensive use: the protective metal plate heats up and accelerates wear, while the central decorative adhesive degrades rapidly in contact with heat. Finally, the square-shaped tip at the bottom of the torch is an ergonomic choice that hinders swing practice."
Analysis and Characteristics
- Comfort Handle: Made of soft silver plastic for a gentle grip.
- Sushi Roll wick: 100% braided Kevlar without polymers, fixed with screws for easy maintenance.
- Chromatic Variety: Available in purple, gold, silver, green, red, yellow, pink and blue.
- Stability: Internal wooden dowel provides excellent weight distribution for aerial juggling.
Fuel Guidelines
The choice of fuel is critical to avoid accelerating the degradation of the decorative adhesive and the plastic handle.
- Deodorized petroleum (Kerdane)
- Paraffin or lamp oil
- Barbecue lighter fluid (hot combustion)
- "Firewater" (if available)
- Gasoline / Gasoline (Risk of explosion)
- White spirit (Destroys the fiber and releases toxic fumes)
- Alcohols / Methanol (Destructive chemical reaction)
- Diesel (Harmful fumes, damages plastic)
Manufactured by Henrys (Germany)
The German manufacturer is a global institution. The Nite Flite torch meets Henrys' high standards of material quality, although its design has not changed for many years.

Hello, I would like to buy torches but first I want to know the lifespan of the wicks and the entire club. Thank you. Kisses ^^
Wicks have a very good lifespan. Kevlar is a material that will give you one to several years of use with regular use. Some professionals who work with fire every week change their wicks more regularly (about once a year)... In fact, it really depends on how often you practice and your requirements for flame size!
Don't worry, these clubs are super strong.
Afterwards, when they no longer produce much flame, you have to change the wick.
Happy juggling!!
The wick is changed when it is worn out indeed... There is enough to do, depending on the frequency of use, the wick can be changed twice a year, if you are a brute and you juggle with it every week, as it can be changed once a year, or once every 2 years, so practical a few times a month... A tip to extend the life of reinforced Kevlar wicks: Re-soak the wicks before storing the torches in order to cool the copper wires which are used to reinforce the wick. This is to prevent them from consuming the wick...
If I buy it, do I have to buy another one to train with or can we train without it getting too damaged?
In general, if you have a set of torches, it's because you already juggle with clubs... You can juggle with your tin orches as if they were clubs, but be careful, the comfort is not the same, you can hurt yourself more easily, it's a much harder structure than the soft plastic used on clubs. In general, with torches, we only practice figures that are already assimilated to clubs. So I advise you to avoid using your torches too much to train... It's not that they won't be strong enough, but rather that they're not great for training.
I confirm that for juggling comfort and learning it is better to start with "basic" clubs, but be careful, torches do not have the same weight, nor the same rotation speed. In addition, when they are soaked and lit, the rotation is not the same either!
Fire training required before the demonstrations ;)
