Martial Flowdart V2:

Model designed based on recommendations from the Rope Dart Academy. The rope dart discipline has its origins in Asian martial arts. A blade at the end of a cord allowed the weapon to be very discreet to carry on one's person. Today, we find this discipline in a more artistic form in the world of circus and street arts. A ball of fire, a ball or here a light system allows you to repeat all the same movements. The discipline has experienced growth in recent years which has mutated martial arts movements which are now combined with dance and juggling movements.

Head mass: 188g.
Head dimensions: length 178mm | diameter 42mm.
Braided paracord loop, 1g; no O-rings needed, the rope knot slips into the loop.
Head composition: polycarbonate tube, rope connector and 2.0 light capsule, silicone flowcap with an internal polycarbonate structure, polyurethane flowmass.
Head flag: width 280mm | length 255mm.
Cord: 4 meters | braided cotton.

Tubes:

Made from polycarbonate, the most durable clear plastic available and the same material used for bulletproof glass. Although the tubes are technically 1" OD and 7/8" ID, the extruded tube is custom made in Flowtoys workshops to be assured it meets precise specifications as a difference of 5/1000th of an inch can mean that the tube is too tight or too big, which would cause the stick to vibrate! All tubes are prepared in-house which involves size testing, cutting the tubes, punching holes, deburring the edges and blowing out all chips and dust for a smooth, clean finish. All jigs and many tools were developed and manufactured in-house at Flowtoys.
