Juggling equipment set for a primary or middle school class:

This set has been designed to equip a class with about twenty students.

This set is compiled on the basis of advice we receive from the specialist teachers we provide through the establishments where they work.

You can choose the colours of each item once you add this set to your cart (you will have to distribute the colours by quantity).

All the equipment making up this set is recommended for children from 7/8 years old.

Why this equipment in particular?

Teaching circus arts in primary school or middle school does not require being a circus professionnal, but rather having pedagogy. Organize exercises and games with the circus equipment. The equipment is often misused. If you do not have any knowledge in this area, there are probably speakers who can come to your establishment to be by your side during your lessons. Juggling balls:

The equipment in this set includes 12 soft juggling balls. We opted here for balls that are comfortable to juggle with. Touch has an important role to play. If you have students in class who are not very careful with the equipment, we advise you to opt for one of our sets with soft balls with PCV coating such as the Varana balls.

Juggling scarves:

When you throw them, scarves allow you to do a lot of different exercises. Indeed, they fall very slowly, which gives time to work on rhythms. The margin of error compared to a ball is enormous and the scarves will allow the whole group to progress. There is a tactile and visual side to which children and adolescents are all drawn.

Diabolos:

We put in the set medium-sized diabolos with wooden handsticks. Don't worry, the handsticks are made of beech, they're solid. And diabolos are made of soft plastic, which deforms when dropped. It is one of the favourite accessories among children and teenagers. For the youngest, the practice can sometimes be more difficult except when there is group stimulation around the object. Rings:

The rings are used in juggling exercises but also in other ways, by rolling them on the ground for example. There are also many interesting things to develop in passing to stimulate group cohesion. But you can also use them for throwing exercises.

Spinning plates:

It is an element impossible to omit in a circus set for children / teenagers. They will spend hours spinning their plate at the end of a stick. The educational interest is more limited than the other accessories of this set, but it is an item that stimulates by its ease of use.

Flower sticks:

The devil sticks, or more precisely in this case: flower sticks, have a good silicone grip system and are easy to use models. Since their use can be diverted, it is one of the richest apparatus in terms of pure pedagogy. We have opted here for the Neo model, robust thanks to a fiberglass structure on the devil stick, but also on its controlsticks.

Poi:

You can practice with one or with a pair. The aesthetic rendering is interesting and the practice of the basics of the discipline is accessible. Again, there are multiple uses.

If giving circus lessons is your specialty, some items in this set may not be right for you. This set is, in our opinion, thoughtful and interesting for teachers who are not necessarily specialized in circus arts. If you are a teacher in the circus arts, you can compose your own set from the equipment that we market individually, the prices are about the same whether you compose your own set or whether you buy a complete one like this one.
