Plastic yo-yo for 1A, 3A and 5A practice:

This plastic yo-yo is designed for practicing the 1A style of play (the most common style of play practiced by serious yo-yoists). This is a style where you practice on the string. Indeed, the very open shape of the so-called "Butterfly" yo-yo will make it easier to catch iton the string.

This yo-yo is intended for a style of play where you make tricks on the string, namely 1A, 3A and 5A. This model is recommended from the age of 8 by the manufacturer. NetJuggler notes that the most appropriate age would rather be from 14 years old (except for children who are already used to handling items requiring a certain dexterity).

NetJuggler's opinion on the Skyva:

Although plastic, this yo-yo performs as well as a metallic or bi-metallic yo-yo. Small notches in the shells will make your fingers go directly to the middle of the yo-yo, very handy for performing many tricks. Particularly effective for "fingerloops".

From the first throw, you will see how stable and powerful it is. With a good launch, you will have very good stability with practically no vibration. Really, this yo-yo is just as effective as a metal yo-yo, but much cheaper!

Another very positive point for this yo-yo is the fact that it is made of plastic. The latter will deform less after impacts and will therefore be good for an inexperienced person.
