Balance ball (70 cm):
These balance balls with a diameter of 70cm are the most commonly used balls for initiation and show.
Be careful, smaller or lighter balls will move faster and will therefore be less accessible. For safety reasons and especially for use with beginners, it is better to opt for a 16 kg ball which will roll much less than a lighter ball.
NetJuggler's opinion:
Do not use without adult supervision. This item may present risks if not handled in accordance with basic safety rules.
The mold used to make this balance ball is old: the joint line visible all around is quite marked and the finishes may appear rough.
We now offer an improved version, produced from a recent mold offering clean finishes and a much cleaner appearance, all at a more advantageous price: Balance ball with cap .
We have the possibility to order lighter balls (10 kg) which we strongly advise against for use as a balancing act, but which we usually sell as decorative objects or seats... The price on this version is lower. Please contact us for more information.
Features of the balance ball:
- Weight: 16Kg.
- Diameter: 700 mm.
- Available in blue, red, green, yellow or fuchsia.
- Ideal for use with children and adults.
Painting a balance ball:
This is a question we get asked regularly. If you want to decorate your balance ball by painting it, it's entirely possible. The ball is made of polyethylene. Polyethylene is a material used in particular to make car bumpers, so it's possible to find commercially available paints suitable for this material. The ball's finish is glossy, so before painting you'll need to flame the ball with a blowtorch so the paint adheres to the surface.
For what type of practice?
Ideal for associations and schools.
The goal is to be able to stand on the ball without assistance. To achieve this goal, remember to take a few precautions. Place the ball on gym mats (mats used in gymnastics or karate) and have two assistants who will hold it firmly (sitting on their knees on both sides of the ball). Take many small steps to maintain balance and be able to move around.
Learn how to do the balance ball:
We recommend using mats if you are teaching this discipline as an introductory circus instructor. We recommend the following mats: Evolution 40 Cover Mat (Reinforced Corners)
Balance ball and car tire:
If you're teaching classes for people who have never ridden a balance ball before, the first few uses can be done with the ball completely static. To do this, place the ball on a car tire. If this step interests you, you can very easily recover an old tire from any auto repair shop, generally with a cordial exchange; mechanics are happy to offer you an end-of-life tire. The circus is also the art of recycling!
The tire will also be useful for placing the balance ball on it for storage, this prevents it from rolling in all directions.
Delivery to Switzerland and outside Metropolitan France:
If you would like to have this item delivered to Switzerland or any other country outside of mainland France, please contact us by phone or email before placing your order. The delivery prices listed on our website are calculated for a single balance ball and may not include charges specific to your order. For Switzerland, an additional charge of approximately €70 per balance ball will be required to cover customs formalities and special packaging requirements. Due to the large size of the ball, additional logistical constraints may also apply.
For other countries outside of mainland France, a specific quote will be provided for your order. These fees are not automatically calculated on our website, and the amount displayed will not be correct if you place an order without a prior quote.

Is it possible to do balancing acts on large balls that inflate (like the ones you sit on or the ones for pregnant women)?
Hello, you indicate that to paint on a balance ball you have to flame the support with a blowtorch to make the surface sticky, can you obtain a sufficiently sticky surface by sanding the surface with emery cloth?
Also, do you know if the paint (on prepared support) has good wear resistance?
I have to paint a balance ball over its entire surface for a show, I don't know, given that the design on this ball is not in the mass of the material, if the paint will easily resist the different uses of the ball.
Does the paint withstand rolling the ball on different surfaces (dance mat, wooden floor, concrete floor, etc.)?
Do you have any information on this subject?
Thank you.
Do you have 1.20m balls?
To date, we only offer balance balls with a diameter of 70cm.
I have a knee problem and I love it, can I do it?
Ask your doctor, he will be able to advise you better than we can.
When using the ball, you take lots of small steps that don't require highly developed knee motor skills. However, getting on, off, or falling off the ball can be dangerous even with a well-functioning knee.
Hello, I would like to know if it damages the ball to make it in the grass?
No, it won't damage the ball... It might get a little dirty, however, depending on the condition of the lawn!
Do you have balls that are 1.20 meters in diameter?
It's 16 kg, it's portable, but is it hard to lift?
It's not the weight that makes these balls difficult to lift, but rather their size! Honestly, they lift quite easily, and then roll quite easily. The 70cm diameter means they fit through most doors, which are usually 80cm by default.
why is it so expensive
mold + manufacturing + storage + delivery + limited market and therefore limited production
I play boules on carpet, could I play it on grass???
Yes, it is entirely possible to do it on grass... But be careful, the flatter the ground, the better it rolls!
Why is the diameter of the balls 70 cm? Is a larger diameter better for adults?
THANKS
The 70cm diameter is ideal for everyone. A smaller ball is more difficult to use, it is less easy to find your balance on a smaller ball. A larger ball is more stable but requires more supervision than a 70cm ball, especially for beginners with children. Finally, a 70cm ball fits through most standard doors, which are generally 80cm wide! It is the ideal size for beginners with children and adults.
For me, using a balance ball with a diameter of 70 cm is much easier than using a lighter, smaller ball!
