Product presentation:
This fabric cover from the CIRCUS DIVISION range consists of a stainless steel core covered in silicone , with no welds or exposed metal parts. The 1 cm thick silicone layer provides optimal protection for both the fabric and the core, even in the event of an impact.
Its circular design avoids the angled stresses that can cause premature wear of the fabric. This shape is therefore essential to guarantee the lifespan of your installation.
Recommended fastening system and knot:
The clove hitch is recommended to secure the fabric to the bell, avoiding compression points that could damage the weave.
- 1. Twist the fabric at its center to thin it out.
- 2. Create two identical loops side by side.
- 3. Overlap the left loop on top of the right one.
- 4. Pass the bell through the knot.
- 5. Pull on the ends of the fabric to adjust the knot.
- 6. Attach the ends of the anchor loop to a carabiner (not supplied).
Security and certifications:
🔒 WLL (Maximum Working Load): 170 daN (approximately 170 kg)
💥 CMR (Maximum Breaking Load): 1000 daN
🧹 Safety factor : 10:1
The bell is associated with a nylon anchor loop certified for 4500 kg (45 kN).

Is this bell compatible with the open swivel? From the pictures it looks like it needs a classic carabiner because the nylon anchor loop looks thick.
Excellent question :-). The fabric bell can be mounted with the Petzl Swivel Open... We also sell a kit with the Swivel Open on our website, I invite you to consult the kit page where you can see photos of the assembly.
Hello, I don't understand how to fix the bell to the ceiling?
Thank you in advance
You'll need an anchor point on the ceiling where you want to install the fabric bell. This anchor point must be able to exert pressure of up to about a ton. This is because we don't consider the weight of the person practicing, but rather their weight in motion. There are several possible configurations depending on your ceiling. On a load-bearing beam of your building's structure, if there is clearance above, you can use a sewn ring or sling, then a carabiner to connect it to your fabric bell. If there is no space above your beam, then we have an anchor plate that will screw into your beam with screws provided that are made to withstand the pressure exerted on the anchor point. If your ceiling is made of concrete, we offer the same anchor plate with special fasteners that must be chemically sealed. Please note that you will need to consult an approved contractor, mason, or architect to verify the feasibility and implementation of this type of project. To attach the fabric bell to this anchor plate you will need a carabiner or a link. You will find these elements on our site here . If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer your questions by phone at 05 55 56 25 79
Good morning,
I would like to hang the fabric on a tree, do I need another attachment in addition to the bell? (carabiner, swivel, etc.)
First, make sure your tree can withstand about 1 ton of pressure. You'll need a sturdy branch. Ideally, place a sling around your branch. Then, attach a carabiner between the sling and the fabric bell. Your fabric will be placed directly on the bell.
Hello, what is the total height of the bell please?
THANKS
What is the CMU of this bell please? Thank you.
The CMU corresponds to 100 daN. You will find all this information in the bell safety certificate which you can download in the product description or by clicking here .
Good morning !
I would like to purchase a 10m fabric and a fabric bell. Is it necessary to purchase a swivel to hang the bell?
THANKS
Using a swivel is a personal choice. It depends on whether you want your fabric to be able to rotate or not. It's absolutely not a requirement.
