Fabric bell jar:

The unique design of the CIRCUS DIVISION fabric bell features a stainless steel core coated in silicone, with no welds or exposed metal parts. The silicone coating is 1 cm thick (the total weight of the hook is 630 g). In addition to protecting your fabric, the silicone also protects the steel core from any impacts that may occur during use and/or transport.

To secure your fabric in the air, a round support structure (tubular in this case) is essential. This round shape is used to avoid imposing any angular stress. Indeed, under tension, if you were to attach your fabric to a structure that isn't round, the fabric could suffer premature wear, even leading to breakage.

The use of the bell is essential.

How do you tie a capstan knot?

Using the fabric bell, tie a clove hitch to protect your fabric. This prevents any strangulation that could damage the weave.

• 1 Twist the fabric around itself in the central part, where you can find the product label, to make it thinner and easier to handle.
• 2. Create a loop approximately 10 cm in diameter.
• 3. Create a second loop of the same size to the right or left of the first loop. It is important that both loops are made as shown in the image.
• 4. Overlap the second loop (the one on the left) over the first loop. The clove hitch is complete.
• 5 Slide the hook inside the knot. At this stage, the fabric is still quite bulky.
• 6 Pull the ends and adjust the knot so that it thins out and is well positioned between the two silicone edges.
• 7. Attach the 2 ends of the anchor loop to the carabiner (not supplied).
• Once assembled, with your weight on the fabric the knot will become thinner and will automatically orient itself into the correct position.

This bell jar allows for optimization of the fabric's lifespan.

Fabric bell safety:

The bell is certified for a maximum working load of approximately 150 kg (150 dN) with a safety factor of 10:1, meaning the steel core can withstand a load of approximately 1500 kg. Considering that the elasticity of the silicone coating dampens the effect of the load and that the entire system is rigged using a nylon anchor loop certified to withstand up to 4500 kg (45 kN), this is the most robust and safest fabric bell on the market to date.
