Sparkle Diamond Series - Solid Sparkle Effect (sold individually)

The Sparkle Diamond charcoal stick is a stage prop designed to produce spectacular spark projections. Glowing embers escape from the metal cages during rotation, creating an impressive shower of fire. Its structure is based on a 22mm 7075 (Ergal) aluminum tube, essential for supporting the weight of the steel cages, and features a high-performance silicone grip with a central silver marking.

⚠️ Risk of Severe Burns: This device projects embers in multiple directions. The use of full body protection, including mandatory fire-resistant head and face protection, is required. For professional use only.

Design & Architecture

The Sparkle Diamond is a modular apparatus composed of three detachable (bolted) parts . This system facilitates transport, storage, and precise filling of the cages. The central tube, made of 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, provides maximum rigidity to counteract the centrifugal force of the loaded cages.

Implementation and Precautions

  • Filling: Use shisha charcoal (recommended) or lightly crushed briquettes to optimize projection.
  • Heating: After soaking the charcoal through the perforations, let it heat for 5 minutes in a static position on a fireproof surface before handling.
  • Balance: The silver marking in the center allows you to immediately identify the dead spot of the pole.
  • Maintenance: The bolt-on fastening system allows for separate replacement of a cage or the central tube in case of an accident.

NetJuggler's review

"The Sparkle Diamond is more dynamic than the rectangular model thanks to the shape of its cages. The Medium version is particularly maneuverable for fast routines, while the Big version is designed for endurance and pure visual impact. The use of 7075 aluminum is crucial here for the structural safety of the apparatus."

Staff preparation

To prepare the staff, fill the cages with charcoal or briquettes (light grinding is recommended). Using hookah charcoal is advised for best results.

Next, pour lighter fluid through the perforations in the cages so that it reaches the charcoal, then light them. It is recommended to place the cages on fireproof supports during this step.

After approximately 5 minutes of heating , the charcoal reaches its optimal temperature and the staff is ready to be used.

FAQ Staff Sparkle Diamond

Why is 7075 aluminum essential here?
The 7075 alloy (Ergal) is much more rigid than standard aluminum. Since the cages can weigh up to 4 kg, the centrifugal force during spinning is enormous. Without this aircraft-grade quality, the central tube would be irreversibly bent during the first few sessions. However, with such weight, care must be taken: improper handling or very violent impacts could damage this part. This is technical and dangerous equipment to use, which is why its use is reserved for adults and, more specifically, for professionals experienced with this type of equipment.
What kind of face protection should I wear?
Full protection is mandatory. We recommend a Kevlar hat and airtight safety goggles. Embers will fly in all directions and must never come into contact with the eyes or hair.
Is the silicone grip replaceable?
Yes. The silicone grip offers excellent traction by default, but you can replace it with your preferred grip depending on your playing style. It can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth after it has cooled down.
Is it permissible to place the lit stick on the ground?
No. Improper use or violent impacts on the ground could damage the 7075 tube or the steel sheet cages. Furthermore, residual heat from the coal could degrade the nearby silicone grip.
Is the stick delivered ready to use?
The baton is delivered assembled, but without fuel. You must purchase charcoal separately and follow the heating protocol before your performance.
