10-meter bag of Henrys diabolo string

Item sold individually (in a bag, therefore without a reel).
Henrys Pro diabolo string:
Pack of 10 meters of thin, strong string for diabolo making. It won't wrap around the diabolo. This pack version saves you money compared to the roll version. It's the same string as the roll version.
Diabolo strings wear out, and that's perfectly normal. To improve the lifespan of your string, we recommend using gentler, more fluid movements. Children who are just starting out wear out their strings ten times faster than someone who uses them professionally. Just watch how energetically a child accelerates their diabolo ;-). Imagine the amount of friction; regardless of the string, wear and tear will inevitably be significant. That being said, Henrys Pro string is more durable than the strings typically sold with sticks.
However, be careful if you are using a diabolo that catches fire, you will need to use Kevlar diabolo string (which does not melt and does not catch fire).
NetJuggler's tips and advice on string:
Why is Henrys string the choice of professionals?Information for professionals:In our opinion, Henrys string is the best, not so much for its color, but primarily for its smoothness when used. Friction on the axle is minimized. By avoiding its use in humid or dusty environments, you will increase its lifespan.
When we contacted Henrys, the string manufacturer, they told us that every color of string is identical, but we've been selling this string since 2004 and diabolo players have been telling us the opposite. We thought it would be helpful to share with you the information from Alexis Levillon , an experienced diabolo player, regarding the differences between the string colors.
Here, in order, are the strings that snag the least, going up to those that snag the most:
- Yellow String - Slippery a lot, used more for vertax, it will take some time to use before the grip is ideal.
- Orange string - Slips less than yellow, it is the favorite color of the majority of diabolo players.
- White string - Used by diabolo players who practice with several diabolos but also by beginner diabolo players who have difficulty accelerating their diabolo at the very beginning.
This information about strings is provided as a guide only, and should not be relied upon completely, as string color choice is very personal and each diabolo player has their own preferences. The differences between string colors are due to the dyes used, which influence how well the string fibers grip.
Adjust the string of your diabolo:When playing diabolo, an important factor is the length of the string. The length depends on your height and also your preferences. There's no standard length!
That said, generally for children, the string is used to go from their foot to their shoulder . For teenagers/adults, it's a slightly shorter length, going from their foot to their armpit.
To find the length you prefer, try several times and, as soon as you feel you like it, keep it!
For what type of use?
This string is designed for intensive use by experienced diabolo players. It is also suitable for beginners, as they tend to wear out their string much faster than experienced players and will therefore need a robust string.
