Pair of body torches

Gora's Body Torches are essential props for performances combining dance, acrobatics, and fire. Designed to free the performer's hands, they attach to the forearms or legs using an ultra-adjustable Velcro strap system, allowing them to fit both a slender wrist and a muscular thigh.
Design and Maintenance
The leather base allows for direct contact with the body or can be worn over non-flammable textile clothing (thick cotton, leather). The wick is mounted on an 8.5 cm flexible spring that absorbs shocks during acrobatics and limits heat transfer to the base.
- Easy replacement: The drill bits are fixed by a screw at the end, making change quick and accessible without complex tools.
- Versatility: An excellent alternative to fire hands for varying ignition points on the body (elbow, calf, back of hand).
NetJuggler's review
"The major advantage of this model is its flexible wire spring: it does not permanently bend upon impact during an acrobatic movement. The leather base is wide and offers a reassuring thermal barrier for the skin."
Fuel Guidelines
To preserve the suppleness of the leather and the lifespan of the Kevlar, use only the recommended liquids.
- Deodorized petroleum (Kerdane)
- Paraffin or lamp oil
- Barbecue lighter fluid (hot combustion)
- "Firewater" (if available)
- Gasoline / Gasoline (Risk of explosion)
- White spirit (Destroys the fiber and releases toxic fumes)
- Alcohols / Methanol (Destructive chemical reaction)
- Diesel (Harmful fumes, damages leather)
Gora Fire Gear Manufacturing
