To extend the lifespan of your equipment and ensure safe practice, follow these principles:

Kevlar impregnation: Soak the wicks three-quarters of the way to prevent excess fuel from dripping onto the silicone grip. The silicone is heat-resistant, but not flame-resistant.
Fuel selection: Use only odorless kerosene. Never use white spirit, benzene, or alcohol-based fuels.
Fire management: never leave the staff in a static, upright position when it is on fire. Maintain a slight movement or position it horizontally.
Silicone and fire: Never expose the grip or flowers to a prolonged direct flame. The silicone can deteriorate if it absorbs fuel or if flames come into contact with it.

Fire equipment maintenance:
