Why is my Kevlar® wearing out so quickly?

The number one enemy is "dry burning." Kevlar doesn't burn itself; it retains the fuel, which then burns. If you let the flame go out on its own, the fibers will overheat and become brittle. Pro tip: Extinguish your equipment (by smothering it) as soon as the flame weakens.

My Kevlar is disintegrating, why?

Kevlar is stable up to 200°C, but its structure breaks down above 300°C. Be careful with asphalt: placing hot equipment on tar creates a thermal mirror that causes the temperature to spike. Store your equipment on insulating supports between uses.

What is the difference between Lycopodium and Liko?

Lycopodium is a natural spore. Liko powder is a technically optimized alternative for an identical flash (fireball) effect. The Liko range allows for different mixtures to vary the intensity and color of the spark bursts.

How do I attach my drill bits to the equipment?

For the poles, use self-drilling screws or steel rivets. For the fans, stitching with Kevlar thread avoids visible hot metal points. The important thing is that the fastening head is recessed within the thickness of the wick.

What is the STEEJER protocol?

This is the safety standard: Secure , Soak , Wring , Ignite , Juggle , Extinguish , Store . This strict protocol minimizes the risk of accidents and extends the lifespan of your Kevlar.

What clothes should I wear for a fire?

Zero synthetics. Polyester melts onto the skin. Wear only natural fibers: thick cotton, wool, leather, Nomex® or Kevlar® . Tie your hair back and avoid flammable styling products (hairspray, gels).
