Heat-resistant Kevlar adhesive

Product sold individually. Two sizes are available: 30 ml and 125 ml.
Available formats
This heat-resistant adhesive is available in two packaging options:
- Small size – 30 ml : ideal for occasional repairs, tests or small areas.
- Medium size – 125 ml : suitable for more regular use or applications on multiple devices.
Both formats are ready to use, with an identical formulation. The choice depends on the surface to be glued and the frequency of use.
Main use: attaching Kevlar to firefighting equipment
At NetJuggler, this glue is used to securely fix Kevlar wicks. It offers excellent heat resistance, even in extreme conditions. It is ideal for securing and/or repairing fire juggling equipment such as staffs, torches, or bolas. However, be careful not to overuse it, as the surfaces you are covering will no longer absorb fuel.
Technical specifications
Designed to withstand high temperatures, this adhesive offers excellent performance on a wide variety of materials. It is easy to use and durable once dry.
- Thermal resistance up to approximately 1250 °C.
- Effective adhesion to metal, Kevlar, ceramics, technical textiles.
- Single component, requires no prior mixing.
- Setting time: approximately 2 to 4 hours depending on humidity and temperature conditions.
- Complete hardening after 24 hours.
Instructions for use
To ensure a long-lasting hold, it is recommended to follow these steps during application:
- Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be glued: they must be dry, clean and dust-free.
- Apply the glue using a spatula or in a thin bead directly from the tube or bottle.
- Position the items to be glued immediately, within 5 to 10 minutes of application.
- Keep the items in place without disturbing them for at least 4 hours.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours before exposure to heat or intensive use.
Tools should be cleaned with water before drying. Once hardened, the glue is difficult to remove.
Beyond Kevlar: a high-temperature adhesive with multiple uses
This adhesive is a benchmark for attaching Kevlar wicks to fire juggling equipment, primarily due to its technical properties. Resistant to temperatures up to approximately 1250°C and capable of bonding strongly to numerous materials (metal, ceramic, fiberglass, carbon fiber, or technical textiles), it naturally finds its place in many areas of repair and DIY projects.
Whether it's for maintaining equipment exposed to heat, technical repairs, or DIY projects, this high-temperature glue is a very versatile product to keep in your workshop.
1. Automotive, motorcycle and thermal modeling mechanics
In mechanical environments, temperatures can quickly render conventional adhesives ineffective. This refractory adhesive allows, in particular:
- Exhaust lines: fixing of fiberglass, ceramic or basalt heat wraps on manifolds and exhausts.
- Thermal screens: maintenance or repair of insulating protections in engine compartments.
- Thermal modeling: insulation or fixing of components close to the engines in RC models, thermal drones or micro-turbines.
2. Domestic heating and combustion equipment
The adhesive can also replace or supplement refractory sealants used for the maintenance of domestic heating systems:
- Wood stoves and inserts: gluing or replacing sealing braids (fiberglass seals) around doors and windows.
- Chimneys: fixing of textiles or thermal seals exposed to heat.
- Barbecues, smokers and braziers: repair or assembly of metal or ceramic elements subjected to flames.
- Pizza ovens and artisanal ovens: fixing insulating strips or reinforcing certain elements subjected to high temperatures.
3. Household appliances and everyday repairs
In the home, this glue also helps to extend the lifespan of appliances subjected to high temperatures:
- Ovens and cookers: re-gluing of door seals or parts exposed to heat.
- Small household appliances: repair of internal components in appliances such as toasters, radiators or irons.
- Outdoor cooking equipment: maintenance or repair of smokehouses, griddles or cooking appliances exposed to high temperatures.
4. Technical DIY, crafts and DIY projects
Its ready-to-use, single-component formulation and high thermal resistance also make it useful for many craft projects:
- Metal or ceramic repair: fixing elements subjected to heat or strengthening technical parts.
- Working with composite materials: assembly of fiberglass or carbon fiber parts in demanding thermal environments.
- Forging and artisanal cutlery: bonding of fibers or thermal insulation in forging equipment.
- Technical creation and DIY: manufacturing thermal protections or assembling projects exposed to heat.
- Set design and special effects: fixing textiles or technical materials in sets exposed to controlled flames.
💡 Usage tip: To ensure optimal adhesion, surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease before application. Allow approximately 24 hours of drying time before exposing to high temperatures to achieve maximum resistance.
Storage and lifespan
To preserve the product's properties, it is advisable to store the glue in a dry place at a moderate temperature (between +5°C and +25°C).
- Shelf life (unopened) : 12 months after manufacture.
- After opening : close tightly and use within the following weeks.
Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or frost, which could impair the quality of the product.
