What kind of use?
Fire staffs are aimed at professionals! Fire burns ...
Warning: this item can be dangerous. Always handle a flaming object with care and provide something to extinguish it (wet non-flammable cloth reserved for this use). This item is prohibited for those under the age of 18.
Change your wicks:
I made a small amateur video to show how to change the wick of a torch. The same technique applies to change the wick on a staff. When you change your wick, you can use kevlar of another width if you wish. Kevlar is sold by the meter or in reels. To replace the kevlar on this staff, if you want the same thickness, one meter will be enough for you to change the two ends of the staff.
People who bought this item also bought the following items
Fire Sword 1m

Hello, if I understand correctly, the staffs have a limited lifespan if each time you change the drill bit you have to drill into the metal tube?
The lifespan of the wick is important... It's difficult to be precise about the lifespan of wicks. It all depends on whether you practice every day, a few times a week or a month... But in general, you change the wicks on average once a year or less often if you don't use the staff intensively. But the staffs have a more or less limited lifespan depending on your practice too. A staff can warp if you smash it against the ground, the grip also needs to be changed about once a year... I would say that you can change your bit a good ten times before starting to have difficulty changing it. And there are solutions when you get to that point :-).
Could you please advise me? I am hesitating between 130 and 150, what is the difference and which is better to start with. Thank you.
A shorter staff of 1.30m will be able to pass under your arms when you spin. A staff of 1.50m is too long to pass under the arms, so your practice will be more limited. On the other hand, its longer size will allow you to do other things such as contact staff movements which will be more difficult to achieve with a staff of 1.30m.
As a beginner, I loved this item, which perfectly met my expectations. Solid and good quality! The only downside is that the wicks don't stay lit long enough for my liking, namely between 4 and 6/7 minutes.
