2-in-1 Juggling Kit – Balls & Bolas with Socks
Why choose between three-ball juggling and bolas when you can discover both with the same equipment?
We designed this 2-in-1 juggling kit to allow beginners and curious individuals to learn two different disciplines without multiplying the accessories.
The principle is very simple: the kit contains three BBX Beanbag juggling balls from Play and a pair of NetJuggler sock bolas .
You can learn to juggle with the three balls. Then, when you want to change disciplines, simply slip two of these balls into the socks to create a pair of bolas ready to use.
And when you want to go back to classic juggling, simply remove the balls from the socks!
Three balls, two bolas and a multitude of figures to discover.
How does this 2-in-1 kit work?
The three BBX balls can be used in two ways:
- To juggle three balls: use the three BBX balls to learn throws, the cascade and the first juggling tricks.
- To practice with bolas: slip a BBX ball into each of the two sock bolas. The balls then act as weights, allowing you to practice rotations, crossings, and bola patterns.
You can switch from one discipline to another in moments, without buying extra balls.
That's the whole point of this kit: the same set of balls for two complementary circus arts practices.
What does the kit contain?
- 3 BBX Beanbag Play balls – 63 mm / 100 g: soft, compact, and easy-to-handle juggling balls, ideal for learning three-ball juggling. Their 63 mm diameter also allows them to be slipped into sock bolas.
- 1 pair of NetJuggler sock bolas: two stretch fabric socks, each designed to hold a weight ball. They allow you to discover bolas and practice technical moves. A storage pouch is included.
The balls needed for using bolas are already included in this kit. Although sock bolas are usually sold without weights, you don't need to buy anything extra to use them.
Choose the colors for your kit!
You can personalize your kit by choosing the color of your three BBX balls as well as the color of your pair of sock bolas .
How to do it? Click on the "Add to cart" button. You can then select the desired colors from the available options.
Colours that are out of stock are automatically removed from the choices offered.
This allows you to create a matching set or play with contrasts, according to your preferences!
The colours are selected after clicking on "Add to cart".
Play's BBX balls: for learning to juggle three balls
Play's BBX Beanbag balls are juggling balls designed to offer a comfortable grip and facilitate learning.
We have selected the 63 mm diameter and 100 g model, a compact format which is particularly suitable for people who prefer small balls.
Their flexibility allows them to be handled comfortably, while their low bounce prevents them from flying too far when they fall.
With the three balls in this kit, you can start with one and two ball exercises, then discover the three-ball cascade , which is one of the basics of classical juggling.
Once you have mastered this technique, you will be able to progress to many other throws and combinations.
And when you want to discover another discipline, two of these balls can be used as weights for your sock bolas.
Sock bolas: for learning rotations and technical figures
Bolas , also called poi , are objects that are spun around the body to create trajectories, crossings and sequences.
NetJuggler sock bolas are made of a stretchy fabric into which a weighted ball is inserted.
In this kit, the 63 mm / 100 g BBX balls fulfill this role perfectly: simply slip one into each sock to obtain a pair of bolas.
Sock bolas are particularly useful for learning the basics and progressing towards technical moves. Unlike scarf bolas, they don't have long fabric trails that could hinder certain movements.
You can therefore focus on hand placement, trajectories, and coordination.
They are particularly suited to learning rotations, crossings, isolations and hyperloops .
The stretchy fabric provides a pleasant feel during practice, and the socks are easy to store when not in use.
NetJuggler's review of this kit:
We really like this kit for its simplicity and versatility.
With just three juggling balls and a pair of sock bolas, you have the necessary equipment to discover two very different disciplines.
We chose the BBX balls from Play in the 63 mm / 100 g version, because their size is interesting for three-ball juggling while remaining compatible with sock bolas.
The principle is particularly practical: when you want to juggle, you use the three balls. When you want to practice with bolas, you slip two into your socks. No need for a second set of balls!
Sock bolas are also a good choice for learning technical figures, as the absence of long scarves allows for better concentration on the movements.
This kit is therefore a clever and economical way to discover several facets of juggling.
A small set of equipment that opens the door to two disciplines and many possibilities!
