Glowing bearing diabolo

Diabolo sold individually without the handsticks nor a string. Be sure to order them separately ! The LED set is mounted on the diabolo, the batteries are included and already in place.

This diabolo is for children / teenagers / adults who want to have fun ! Indeed, its axis has the particularity of being equipped with a system mounted on ball bearings giving it an impressive speed of rotation.

This bearing system allows the diabolo to have a much higher rotation speed than that which can be obtained with a normal diabolo.

The cups of this model are made of translucent flexible plastic with a TPE coating to limit scratches during outdoor use.
Its medium-sized shells provide good stability. Its axis is wide, allowing to perform many tricks where the diabolo lands on the fingers or on the handsticks.
The diabolo is equipped with 2 LED sets (1 on each side). Red, green and blue lights illuminate the translucent cups which diffuse the light. Thus, the diabolo is lit for front audience but also for an audience that sees the sides of the diabolo.

The Carousel is a diabolo from the English manufacturer Juggle Dream. It is the cheapest bearing diabolo that we sell in our stores. We decided to add it to our range because we were pleasantly surprised by its performance. Of course, it does not match our range of German-made bearing diabolos (by manufacturer Henrys), but it will give full satisfaction to beginners eager to discover the discipline.

If you are looking for a bearing diabolo that makes little noise, opt for a diabolo equipped with triple bearings, for example the Hurricane diabolo.

Each LED block works with 3 LR44 batteries.
A black and white colour code on each side of the axis, allows you to determine the direction of use of the diabolo.

What kind of use ?

The Carousel is a rather medium-sized diabolo, with a relatively large weight for its size, giving it good inertia. It will be suitable for children, teenagers and adults.

If you are a beginner, NetJuggler advises you to take a roll of string with your order. Indeed, beginners with dry and jerky movements wear out the strings very quickly, in a few hours, where the same string can last a few weeks for an experienced diabolist. This may save you from having to pay shipping fees again when your string is worn out.

If you are not familiar with ball bearing diabolos, the principle is at it follows: once your diabolo picks up speed, it will hold it much longer than a normal axis diabolo. Here are some of the benefits:

Longer spinning time than a normal diabolo.
Possibility to do many tricks without having to re-accelerate your diabolo.
Wide axis to facilitate many tricks.
Minimal friction between the axis and the sticks during grinds / slides.
Limits friction when practicing vertax (vertical axis of the diabolo).

Some drawbacks or limitations on ball bearing diabolos : it becomes impossible to do all the elevator tricks. These bearing diabolos are not made to practice with several diabolos (except vertax), because they will spin too quickly on the string compared to diabolos equipped with normal axis. It may be necessary to change the bearing system once the bearing balls show wear, which of course never happens on a normal diabolo!
